Since 1994, NEDCO has been working with families and individuals to prepare them to become successful homeowners through the Threshold Homeownership Education and Counseling Program. The $65 fee (plus $4.57 on-line registration fee) includes a tri-merge credit report with scores.

This intensive program has two components:

1) Individualized homeownership counseling - The counseling is based on the development and implementation of a strategic action plan, and

2) A course of 8 two-hour classes - Topics include budgeting, debt, credit, mortgage qualification, working with a realtor, insurance, home maintenance and repair, and weatherization and energy savings.

Classes are held weekly from 6-8pm. Please follow the link below to register. Once you are registered, a Homeownership Counselor will call to schedule your first consultation.
