Threshold Homeownership Education and Counseling

Since 1994, NEDCO has been working with low-income families and individuals to prepare them to become successful homeowners through the Threshold Homeownership Education and Counseling Program.

This intensive program has two components:

1) Long-term confidential homeownership counseling - The counseling is based on the development and implementation of a strategic action plan, and

2) A course of 12 two-hour classes - Topics include budgeting, debt, credit, mortgage qualification, insurance, home maintenance and repair, and using energy wisely.

To apply for Threshold, complete the following application and return it with payment (check or money order) for the materials fee ($65) to the Homeownership Center nearest to you.
